NTAa ’25, “Intelligence is Automatic”: February 20–June 8

NTAa ’25, the international new technological art exhibition and awards, is back. Get inspired by mind-baffling art installations during our 6 months running exhibition themed “Intelligence is automatic.”

Call for creators & artists

NTAa, the International Technological Art Expo and Awards show in Zebrastraat Ghent, is looking for artists and creators! Do you turn contemporary and new technologies into art? Take your shot, enter your idea or creation and perhaps your work will be featured during the expo. Even better, maybe you’ll take the precious award home!

Take your shot and win

There will be a jury prize and a public prize. In both cases a cash award of 7,500 EUR will be allocated to an artwork and its creator. Moreover, in case of a close call, the jury will award an honorable mention to an artist. During the exhibition visitors will be able to cast their votes too. Most votes wins.

Rules of the game

The competition is open to all ages and nationalities. Artists can submit a single artwork less than two years old but previously exhibited. The goal of the competition is to present works aligned with the mission of NTAa. The international jury reserves the right to exclude creations that prove impractical within the practical limits of the Liedts-Meesen Foundation. The proposed works will be exhibited, and Zebrastraat provides basic equipment to selected artists; specific equipment must be provided or rented by the artists for the exhibition’s duration. English is the official language. No artist fee is required, and the organization covers transport, accommodation, and installation expenses. Selected projects will be announced in July 2024 on the website and featured in the New Technological Art 2025 exhibition.

“Intelligence is Automatic”

Don’t forget, this year’s theme is “Intelligence is Automatic.” Do you play within the intersection between art, automation, and AI? Take your shot.
